Admitted to the Bar in 1987, Kirk Seaman attended the Community College of Baltimore for two years, earning an Associate Arts Degree with honors in Political Science. He transferred to the University Of Baltimore College of Liberal Arts and earned a degree in Jurisprudence, graduating with honors. In 1982, he entered the University of Baltimore School of Law, graduating in 1985. In 1995, he was appointed by the Circuit Court of Maryland for Carroll County to be a Special Settlement Officer responsible for settling accident, workers' compensation, and family law cases. In 1999, he expanded his law practice to include mediation and arbitration. His practice in Maryland has caused him to appear before the District Courts, Circuit Courts, Court of Special Appeals (now Appellate Court of Maryland), Workers' Compensation Commission, and Office of Administrative Hearings. During his career, he has handled accident cases, workers' compensation cases, criminal and DUI cases, and family law cases.
